The indie studio behind Saint Kotar, Red Martyer Entertainment, has changed its name to The-Mark Entertainment. Based in Pula, Croatia and led by founder Marko Tominić, the team wants this new identity to show how they’re growing while staying true to their beginnings. The rebrand comes with big plans for the future, with a focus on creating deep, story-driven games that pull players into their worlds.
This change didn’t happen overnight. The studio began as Tanais Games back in 2008 before becoming Red Martyr Entertainment in December 2019. The “Red Martyr” name represented their fighting spirit – shown through their bold horned lion logo and striking red color scheme.
This identity guided them through creating Saint Kotar, their 2021 psychological horror game that players loved for its creepy atmosphere and multiple story paths. Working with publisher SOEDESCO, they later added DLC content and a special edition in 2023, proving their talent for immersive storytelling.
The studio’s new name honors founder Marko Tominić while showing their bigger ambition: to make a lasting impact on gaming. Their updated logo changes the old horned lion into a simple lion scratch mark, keeping the bold red color that represents the team’s energy and passion. On their website, they explain: “We’re The-Mark Entertainment, a creative team dedicated to making story-driven games and interactive experiences that pull players into new worlds.” This clear statement shows their focus for future projects.
