Hand-drawn 2D Metroidvania Super Roboy will launch on January 20th, 2025 for PC via Steam. Set in a post-apocalyptic world filled with mutants and robots, the game blends action, exploration, and a heartfelt story about a young robot searching for his father.
You’ll explore an interconnected world filled with sci-fi elements and hidden paths. The game encourages exploration by rewarding players with secrets and upgrades for venturing beyond the main quest. Each area is meticulously hand-drawn, offering a rich and immersive environment.
A key feature is acquiring new skills from defeated enemies, which can enhance movement or unlock powerful weapons. Success also depends on identifying enemy weaknesses and strategically using different elements and effects to unleash devastating attacks.
Super Roboy tells an emotional story through comic book-style cutscenes, inspired by classics like Dante’s Inferno and famous sci-fi novels. Besides fast-paced shooting combat, you’ll also face puzzles while exploring 12 different areas. Along the way, you’ll battle 100 enemies and 20 bosses, offering plenty of content to enjoy.
