Big Fan, a publishing label under Devolver Digital, alongside developer Bithell Games and Disney Games, has announced the release date for TRON: Catalyst, a story-driven adventure set in the iconic digital world of TRON. The game will launch on June 17, 2025, for PC, PlayStation 5, Xbox Series X/S, and Nintendo Switch. New trailer, revealed during the ID@Xbox Showcase, offers a glimpse into the game’s neon-lit world and its central character Exo.
TRON: Catalyst is an isometric, action-infused adventure that immerses you in the Grid, the digital universe made famous by the TRON franchise. You take on the role of Exo, a resilient and resourceful program with the unique ability to initiate time loops. Exo must master her mysterious powers to uncover the truth behind the “Glitch”, a dangerous anomaly threatening the Grid, all while evading Conn, a malevolent agent of Core.
The game combines agile combat with exploration, allowing players to battle enemies on foot and traverse the Arq Grid on Light Cycles. By using the Glitch’s time-rewinding abilities, Exo can learn from her mistakes, navigate warring factions, and unlock new paths to uncover the secrets of the Grid. This story-driven adventure expands the TRON universe, offering fans new characters, missions, and lore to explore.
