Ivy Road and Annapurna Interactive have revealed that Wanderstop, a narrative simulation about running a tea shop, will be released on March 11, 2025, for PC (Steam) and PlayStation 5. This announcement was revealed during the PC Gaming Show: Most Wanted event, accompanied by a new trailer that explores the emotional themes of the game, inspired by the personal experiences of creative director Davey Wreden with burnout.
In Wanderstop, you take on the role of Alta, a former martial arts champion who reluctantly runs a tea shop in a magical forest. Alta's journey of self-discovery reflects the struggle to find peace and purpose after inner turmoil. Throughout the game, you will grow, collect, and mix ingredients using a unique tea brewing device, talk to customers, listen to their stories, and create personalized teas to meet their needs.
Beneath the calm atmosphere of the tea house lies a rich story of healing and acceptance. Wanderstop combines relaxing gameplay with an emotional narrative, offering players the opportunity to reflect on their own challenges while finding comfort in Alta's journey.
