Dear Villagers and Sunny Syrup Studio have announced that their upcoming 2D hack-and-slash game Spirit Mancer will now launch on November 22, 2024, instead of the original release date. The game will be available on PC, PS5, and Nintendo Switch. To give players a taste of the action, Spirit Mancer will be part of the Steam Next Fest from October 14 to 21, featuring its final demo.
Inspired by classics like Mega Man and Pokemon, Spirit Mancer blends hack-and-slash combat with deck-building mechanics. Players take on the role of a demon hunter, fighting and capturing demons to summon them as spirit cards in battle. The game also supports local co-op, letting players team up to fight through colorful, demon-filled levels.
Pre-orders are now open, with a special Demon Hunter Edition offering exclusive content like dragons, tarot cards, and bonus items such as a comic book, artbook, and soundtrack. Players who pre-order can enjoy a 10% discount.
