A new trailer for Castlebound, an action roguelike where you lead a group of heroes to defend your walking castle against endless enemy hordes, was unveiled during The MIX Spring Showcase. The game will be available on PC (Steam), PlayStation, Xbox, and Nintendo Switch, blending tower defense elements with fast-paced, randomized battles.
The gameplay features fast and dynamic combat, requiring players to jump, dodge, and unleash devastating attacks to fend off enemies. Protecting your walking castle is crucial for survival, and each step through dangerous landscapes introduces new challenges. Battles are intense, demanding quick reflexes and strategic thinking. Additionally, Castlebound can be played solo or in co-op mode with another player.
The game offers multiple playable heroes, each with unique abilities and playstyles. As in typical roguelike games, each Castlebound run is unique, featuring procedurally generated challenges and opportunities to unlock new skills, heroes, and upgrades.
